The clients wanted to replace a China cabinet and old hutch with cabinetry to expand and improve storage options for the adjacent kitchen. Two pantry cabinets were built to provide more food storage and space for appliances and larger cookware. The middle butcher block countertop was sized as the couple's coffee bar with the upper cabinet doors inlaid with glass to display glassware.
