The original primary bath vanity was replaced with new cabinetry to better use the space, and added a hutch for display.

The homeowner wanted to replace the original builder-grade primary bathroom vanity with something with more storage and a better utilization of space. The knee hole in the middle was wasted space and the drawers were too small. During the initial consultation, she asked if the vanity could be built with a higher countertop to make it more comfortable for her tall husband. We wound up setting the countertop at 34" (higher than the typical 30" height) and introduced a bank of drawers in the middle section. The false drawer front at the sinks tip out for toothbrushes and other small items.

She also wanted to include a hutch on the countertop with glass shelves to display items and provide a more furniture feel of the cabinetry. The homeowner sourced the quartz countertop and fixtures, adding to the complexity of the installation, requiring the base cabinets to be installed early for the countertop company to measure for the quartz and then returning to install the hutch later.
